Chiltern District Council - Customer ServicesCustomer Services aim to provide an efficient and friendly service to deal with all face to face enquiries and provide council switchboard services and waste management telephone enquiries. We are situated in the reception area of the Council offices.

Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
Fridays 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
Cash receipting close at 5.00 pm Monday - Thursday and 4.45pm on Friday.

Customer Services provide a general reception and enquiry desk for Chiltern District Council and reception facilities for Buckinghamshire Council. A range of local information leaflets, Pension Service and DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) leaflets are available. Refuse sacks, recycling boxes, travel guides and radar keys may be purchased.
The Planning and Building Control desk is available for information, planning application forms and for viewing planning applications online. There is access available to the Council's Graphical Information System and a Duty Officer from the Planning Division is available to assist with your enquiry between 9.00am and 12.30pm Mondays to Fridays (Tel: 01494 732050).
Customer Service Advisors have been trained to deal with a wide range of council enquiries across all service areas providing the customer with one point of contact. Areas of expertise include Concessionary Fares, Council Tax and Council Tax Benefit, Housing Benefit, Environmental issues, Licensing, Electoral Registration, Refuse and Recycling, Penalty Charge Notices and parking information, housing advice and the making of council payments.
Should your enquiry require a service specialist, we will arrange for an officer to come to customer services to talk to you or an appointment will be made for you if an officer is unavailable to see you at the time of your visit.
From 3 May 2007, BCC Registrars will be available within Customer Services for pre arranged appointments for the registration of births, deaths and marriages. To make an appointment call 01494 475000. Appointments will be available Wednesday afternoon and all day on Thursday.
