"Simply Walk" is a scheme organised by the Primary Care Trusts and District Councils in South Buckinghamshire, together with the Rural Transport Partnership, as part of the national "Walking the way to health" initiative.
Would you like to improve your health and meet new friends? Then Simply Walk is for you. It's simple, easy and free!
The local scheme has been developed to encourage people to start walking and to promote walking for health. All walks are led by trained walk leaders, they take place every week and they are free. You will be encouraged to walk at your own pace so that you can build up your strength and stamina.
In Chiltern District, walks are as follows:-
Chesham - Thursday (10.30am start) [moderate level - up to 3 miles]
Meet at Chesham Open Air Swimming Pool.
Gt Missenden - Tuesday (10am start) [easy/moderate level - 1-3 miles] Meet at the Memorial Hall
Holmer Green - Monday (10.30am) [easy level - 1-3 miles] Meet at the Baptist Church on Holmer Green.
